This is a major milestone for my project. I have implemented several features that I have planned for this project such as Menu UI, Rooms and Layouts, Medical Interactions and Audio, Movement as well as the start of some more complicated hand interactions. The video below shows the development I have done to this date with me talking through what I have done and the next steps that I plan on taking.
Some of the elements are mockups such as the Scenario builder, I plan on taking this into our next problem based learning groups for feedback on what I should change and what is currently working. I hope from this it will lead me in a direction where I will be able to deliver a proof of concept prototype with audio and the basis of a scenario tutorial for a specific element of the user interactions.
Conclusion
The next steps is to await the feedback from my peers but in the mean time I plan on developing some scripts which I will need to voice myself of get voiced as they will allow me to use audio as part of the UX. And Audio is often thought of as 50% of the experience in VR so it is important that the audio that I use is of the highest quality.
